Hey there, folks.
Just want to remind everybody that my story, “The Shape of a Cage” is now available in the new Emby Press anthology, USE ENOUGH GUN. If you’ve read any of these monster hunter stories, you’d probably want to check this one out. It’s the seventh in the series of short stories, novelettes featuring Mordecai Slate, a bounty killer who specializes in hunting down all sorts of monsters and things that creep around in the dark.
It’s a good collection of dark, action-filled stories all written around the theme of what happens when a monster hunt goes wrong. Some good, intense tales, and of course Mordecai faces one of his greatest, and most harrowing adventures, part of which takes place at the White Mountain Apache Reservation. Available at Amazon.com. You don’t want to miss it.
On another subject, I’m always fascinated to see what brings people over to this blog. Of course we have our regular readers, but there are also a lot of anonymous viewers who end up reading through here. I can’t tell who the viewers are but the blog does have a feature that tells me what “search terms” were used by viewers that directed them over here. Some of the terms are pretty interesting. Here’s a list of some of the more frequent ones:
- Flash Gordon Buster Crabbe Suit
- Flash Gordon Giving Up His Polo Game
- Revolver Rifle
- Jungle Jim Pygmy Island
- Amazing Stories
- Gorilla Expressive Face
- Steampunk Samurai Biker Chick
- Burma Shave Signs
- Golden Lion
- Rio Muerto
- Ming and Flash
- Images of John Whalen body builder in muscle mag
- What happened to Tamba the Chimp in the Jungle Jim movies?
- Who played the pygmies in Pygmy Island?
- (And my favorite) Is Snoopy black magic in Asia?
Those are just some of them. I hope whoever was searching found something of interest when they landed here. As I wrote some 10,000 plus views ago, we’re all out there, searching, looking for something. We don’t know what but we keep searching.
